April on Day One

On Day One, my opponent wants to give you away to another commissioner.

Her plan is to redistrict as soon as she is elected, why would you vote for someone that is not running to advocate for every voter who votes for him/her?

Ken on Day One

Being completely honest, Day One is filled with swearing in, introduction to department heads and mandatory new government official orientations required by law, so saying you are going to be productive on day one is disingenuous.

Now immeadetly before you start, you work on transitioning and putting your team in place so on day two and every day thereafter you can start getting the work of the people done!

First step is building cooalitions, each commissioner has one equal vote, you must be able to work across party lines to accomplish anything!

April on Water System

Ms Jones has suggested at the Fort Bend Regional Partnership Candidate Forum that Fort Bend County should adopt a "Single Water System" similar to what City of Houston has under a consolidated Public Works Department.

What could possible go wrong with that?

If you have been here during a storm, flood or freeze you know all too well that Houston is without water for weeks!
